5 Ways to Eat Smarter Today

We’re not saying that you can’t indulge in low calorie controlled snacks, but it can be all too easy to sit in front of a TV and eat a whole bag of chips. So be very aware of what you are consuming and when.

3rd Way: Eat 3 Meals a Day and 3 Small Snacks

The idea behind this tip is to boost your metabolism. Keep your tummy busy all digesting foods so you can burn all that fat, breakfast is particularly important to eat because it is the meal that initially jump starts your metabolism.

4th Way: Remember to Indulge

Sure, eating healthy is the first step to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but what’s a diet without a little indulgence. Remember to not restrain yourself from enjoying the occasional drink or some fries. If you don’t indulge every once in a while you may end up going on a huge binge and falling off the wagon.

5th Way: Don’t Rush Eating

Savor every bite of your meals. It can take up to a half an hour for the brain to realize that it is full!  So rushing your meals is one of the leading reasons why we tend to over eat. Try putting your fork down between mouthfuls and chew, chew, chew.
